What is S.M.A.R.T.?
S.M.A.R.T. provides a simplified and efficient alternative to hip grafts, block grafts and traditional GBR procedures, while avoiding soft tissue defects and loss of papillae. S.M.A.R.T. is a disruptive technique that provides previously unavailable solutions to challenging clinical scenarios including reconstruction of bone loss around implants and vertical augmentation. It has the potential to change the future of bone regeneration.
At S.M.A.R.T. we envision a future where the majority of bone grafting procedures will be performed using our minimally invasive methodology, to the benefit of our patients. Transforming Your Practice with Digital Technology.
On October 13 and 14, our office is hosting another digital workshop to assist dental practitioners experience a complete array of digital technology. You and your staff will have an opportunity to test drive the equipment with one-on-one training. The majority of the hands-on course will take place in dental operatories with lifelike manikins and in the laboratory utilizing CAD/CAM software alongside our technicians. In addition, there will be multiple elective presentations available on information technology (IT), return on investment (ROI), 3D printing, smile design, financing options, office design, website design, and surgical planning on both days. Each participant will have an opportunity to pre-register for two, half-hour lectures each day (four elective courses in total per participant).
This two-day course will guide you in your journey to transform your practice from a conventional workflow to a digital workflow in a relatively short time. Our last workshop sold out quickly and we plan to expand the number of stations at the next workshop with additional learning objectives. Dr. Graziano Giglio
Dr. Graziano Giglio received his D.D.S. degree and certificate in prosthodontics from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Giglio became a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics in 1992. He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Dentists, the Greater New York Academy of Dentistry, the Northeastern Gnathological Society, and the New York Academy of Dentistry. Dr. Giglio is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration and of dentistry’s national honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also serves on the board and committees of many dental academies and organizations. He served as the President of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics in 2013. Dr. Giglio is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of Fixed Prosthodontics in the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. In 2013, Dr. Giglio received the Prosthodontist Private Practice Award from the American College of Prosthodontists. He conducts a full-time private practice in a multidisciplinary office with his wife, Dr. Ana Becil Giglio (periodontist), in New York City. Dr. Giglio has published and lectures frequently on dental implants, aesthetics, and digital technology.
